A required course in the marketing major. Course involves the application of research methodology to marketing and management problems. Includes research design, questionnaire construction, sample design, and quantitative data analysis. The goal of the course is to give students the tools either to perform marketing research projects or to interpret the output of such projects. The course involves lecture, discussion, several workshops, computer applications via SPSSW, and a group project.
