This calculus-based introduction to probability and the distributions and properties of several discrete random variables includes hypergeometric, geometric, binomial, negative binomial, Poisson, and the distributions and properties of several continuous random variables, including normal, gamma, uniform, chi-squared, t, and F. Lecture format. Prerequisite: MATH 1592. Fall.
