An elective course for management and marketing majors and minors. Class is intended for students who may form or be employed by a small or family-owned business. Supplements management theory by providing well-balanced coverage of critical small business issues and practical experience in the determination and solution of actual business problems. Internet applications and case studies in the small business community augment lecture and discussion and are used to examine the issues and problems faced by small and family-owned businesses. Prerequisite: Consent of instructor. Fall.
