A required course for athletic training majors, this course provides students with an understanding of the relationship of injuries to various upper extremity anatomical structures and the injuries affect on normal musculoskeletal function. Students will learn a systematic method of assessment, learning various techniques that ensure thorough injury assessment. Lecture, discussion, and required laboratory experiences. Prerequisite: KPED 3351 with a C or better. Fall.
