Designed to provide health science students with a comprehensive overview of community-based health promotion interventions. Special emphasis will be placed on prepareing students to use communication and social marketing strategies in the public health setting. The course seeks to enhance students' knowledge and skills in the fundamental aspects of environmental rather than individual behavior change strategies. Prerequisite: H ED 3301 or H ED 4331.
