This course offers a broad introduction to the field of biogeography, exploring key concepts, theories, and practices employed by biogeographers. Past and present distribution of plants and animals will be described through systematic and integrative studies, and factors of location including geographical, environmental, and historical, will be discussed. The course consists of lecture and discussion. Prerequisite: GEOG 1315. Spring, odd years.
