Theory and practice of gravimetric, volumetric, and instrumental methods of quantitative analysis. The laboratory develops problem-solving and analytical techniques for the proper analysis of a variety of analytes in a biochemical matrix. Three hours of lecture and 6 hours of laboratory per week. Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in CHEM 1451. Fall, spring.
