Credits: 3 Master's degree candidates undertake a project using knowledge gained in MS program. Topics chosen in consultation with a faculty sponsor. Research project is chosen under guidance of full-time graduate faculty member, resulting in written technical report. Prerequisites 18 credits applicable toward MS. Notes Prior approval required by faculty sponsor who supervises student's work. To register, students must complete an independent study form available in department office.
