Credits: 3 Standard techniques of applied multivariate analysis. Topics include review of matrices, T square tests, principle components, multiple regression and general linear models, analysis of variance and covariance, multivariate ANOVA, canonical correlation, discriminant analysis, classification, factor analysis, clustering, and multidimensional scaling. Computer implementation via a statistical package is an integral part of the course. Prerequisites STAT 554 and working knowledge of SAS.
