Credits: 3 Examines Holocaust, destruction of European Jewry, through testimonies of survivors and narratives of historians. Topics include historical and cultural circumstances that encouraged German anti-Semitism, rise of Nazism, ghettoization of Jews in Poland, Jewish life in ghettos, European Jews under Nazi occupation, Jewish resistance, Christian rescuers, invasion of Russia and mobile killing units, life in hiding and passing, forced labor camps and concentration camps, responses of United States and world, and reflections on Holocaust today.
