Credits: 4 Policy analysts are increasingly cognizant of the influence of societal institutions in shaping public policy, not only in terms of policy design, but also as a determinant of implementation. This course reviews the growing literature regarding institutional analysis; furthermore, it considers the ways in which institutions help shape the policies that emerge within a given society and the context by which they are evaluated.
