The course will examine the intricacies between residential, commerical and mixed-use development, and approaches to optimizing each. The value of market research and analysis, determining value propositions of prospective deals, zoning considerations, design and construction issues, and asset management will be examined. One of the main learning vehicles will be the case study, whereby student groups will take a property and track the real estate development life cycle, from inception through construction and management.
