Studies the creation and incubation of new knowledge and features three theoretical fields: the new growth theory; the new economic geography; and the new economics of innovation. Develops a knowledge spillover theory of entrepreneurship. Examines public policy issues arising from these constructs, including competition, within a regional and global context.
