Required of and designed to guide graduate teaching assistants assigned to teach undergraduate course (not a lab) for first time. Topics include course planning, syllabus development, lecture resources, effective lecturing skills, use of audio visuals, leading of classroom discussion, construction and grading of exams, student writing, instructional technology, and handling of student questions and problems.
