Credits: 3 Study of imaging methods using acoustic and electromagnetic waves to probe extended objects, and mathematical transformations to produce images from scattered waves. Topics include classical imaging, physical optics, Fourier transform, holography, tomography, seismic mapping, underwater acoustic imaging and mapping, side-looking radar, antenna arrays, applicable computer methods.
