Credits: 4 Provides a solid background in multimedia research and concept development from a scientific yet practical point of view. Students gain a full understanding of the computerbased principles behind multimedia and appreciate the symbiotic relationship between the two. Students also learn about the life cycle of development for a multimedia application including what constitutes a good idea, usability testing, and copyright issues.
