Credits: 3 Introductory skill-building course integrating conflict theory and practice using reflective practitioner model. Students learn necessary skills for third-party facilitation and mediation, including active listening, empathy, paraphrasing, reframing, and negotiation, in addition to analytical skills of problem solving and creation of transformational processes. Cases for practice focus on interpersonal and intergroup conflict.
