Topics include gas adsorption isotherms, surface area measurement techniques, real and clean surfaces, physisorption and chemisorption, methods of gas adsorption and desorption, measurement of heats of adsorption, desorption kinetics, electron spectroscopies and surface sensitivities, instrumentation; and principles of vacuum technology.
