Credits: 3 Introductory course in the study of environmental laws as they pertain to urban systems infrastructure management. Reviews the National Environmental Policy Act, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, and other environmentally related legislation. Also reviews laws for allocation of surface and groundwater supplies, and reviews environmental law databases. Prerequisites Grade of C or better in CEIE 355.
