Credits: 4 An investigation of the scientific and philosophical foundations of pre-hospital emergency care principles pertinent to a physically active population. Students develop knowledge, critical thinking, and problem solving skills necessary to correctly apply emergency care principles and associated skills in a variety of clinical and professional settings. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will earn Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) and First Aid certifications. Prerequisites BIOL 124
