(4 Units) Modern depositional environments are investigated to interpret sedimentary rock deposits (facies model approach). Labs on sedimentary rock identification, description, and analysis. Field exercises on modern and ancient depositional environments. Field trips are required. (Formerly Sedimentary Rocks) Prerequisites: GEOL 2100, 2102, 2200, and 2202.
