Effective Aug 27, 2007 View History Description: Examines various psychologies and sociologies, and identifies theoretical and methodological similarities between them. From a psychological paradigm, derives shared meanings about the interpretation of the Self. And, from a sociological paradigm reaches an understanding of the role of Self in society, as well as the role society has on shaping the Self. Students experience a set of tasks that allow them to discover the "role of the other." Offered both in-class and online. Formerly known as SBSC 338.
