Effective Aug 1, 2009 View History Description: Students complete a graduation portfolio. The portfolio is constructed of student evidence of meeting theory, method and application outcomes and a completed capstone. Alternative to SBS 402 for students seeking a baccalaureate degree in the social and behavioral sciences. Students meet with faculty and community partners in supervised learning activities related to their Capstone topic and complete a contracted number of off-campus service hours with the sponsoring agency. Geared to students interested in action-oriented research. Requires preapproved Individualized Learning Plan and/or Capstone proposal. (Offered fall and spring semesters.) Units 1 to 4 Units Prerequisites, Corequisites, and Registration Restrictions: [Prerequisites: SBS 300 AND SBS 308 AND (SBS 400 OR SBS 400S) AND (Corequisites: SBS 403)]
