Effective Jan 24, 2005 View History Description: Examines psychological and social development using a multicultural perspective. Students engage in ethical reflection and practice through self-assessment and examination of those with different backgrounds. Explores interrelations among the personal, cognitive, and social development of the individual. Students learn the basic concepts and applications of counseling psychology and demonstrate cross-cultural competence in basic counseling skills through applied learning and experimental work.
