Effective May 1, 2009 View History Description: Students are assigned to the office of a U.S. Representative who is a member of the California congressional delegation in Washington D.C. and spend a semester participating firsthand in American government. Students examine political processes by which public policy is formulated, adopted, and implemented; political activity; election of public officials; and the political organization of government.
