General topics include: basic principles of pharmacology and drug action, "new" drug development, theories of psychopharmacology, theories of emotion/motivation/reward, drugs and the nervous system, psychostimulants, alcohol, hallucinogens, psychiatric medications, and substance abuse treatment.
