Effective Jan 1, 2009 View History Description: (Formerly titled App. Holistic Healing & Well.) An overview of concepts of health and wellness, disease, and healing, considered from a broad range of physical, cultural, and spiritual perspectives. This class will compare and critically examine "western" or "traditional" health and healing, and "eastern," "holistic," and "alternative" approaches so that students can personally and professionally draw from a broad range of preventative and treatment modalities.
