Effective Feb 19, 2008 View History Description: Entry-level scuba certification intended for the student with little or no scuba experience. The aquatic content covers practical SCUBA skills and techniques. Students who complete all academic, pool, and open water requirements may be eligible for SCUBA Diver certification through National Association of Underwater Instructors [NAUI]. One or two weekend fieldtrips may be required. Prior to participating in open-water activities, an appropriate medical release to dive must be on file. (Offered every semester).
