Effective Aug 27, 2007 View History Description: Introduces the physical practice of yoga and explores the emotional, spiritual and philosophical aspects of this ancient discipline. Weekly practice of postures (asanas) build from basic poses to more challenging poses. Builds strength, endurance and flexibility through asana practice. Addresses the emotional and spiritual aspects of yoga through assigned readings, class discussions and journaling. Credit/no credit. (Offered every semester).
