Effective Aug 1, 2010 View History Description: Broadly introduces law in society from interdisciplinary global perspectives. Focuses on intersections of law with everyday life and how law is shaped by and shapes its social context. Special attention to how race, ethnicity, class, gender and sexual orientation relate to law and legal systems. Offers built-in assessment in the concentrations in Pre-Law or Comparative American Studies. (Offered every other year.)
