Effective Jan 23, 2006 View History Description: Examines the issues and solutions involved in the education of students from diverse language backgrounds. Develops an understanding of the historical, social, legal, and political foundations of language minority education. Explores the theoretical foundations of language acquisition and develops strategies and approaches for working effectively with English learners. Includes both coursework and fieldwork weekly.
