Effective Jan 22, 2008 View History Description: Teaches use of digitally based image acquisition and manipulation tools to capture and modify photographic images for use in print and screen-based media. Has two major instructional components. The initial instruction sets are based around conventional photographic principles such as lighting, composition, subject matter, and how digital capture processes affect these. The second component deals with image adjustment and delivery. Deals with aesthetic aspects of photography; does not address the topic of photography as an art form.
