Effective Feb 18, 2008 View History Description: Provides an understanding of emerging business models in electronic commerce. Looks at issues surrounding management of e-businesses, including market communication and customer relationship management (CRM). Explores social and ethical problems surrounding electronic commerce such as security-authentication, privacy-encryption, and safeguarding of intellectual property rights. Develops understanding of current practices in electronic shopping, distribution, and collaboration; and emerging global issues. (Offered in Spring, as interest warrants.)
