Effective Jan 1, 2009 View History Description: Students explore concepts of culture and cultural identity, differential power relationships among cultural groups, and ways to achieve greater equity and social justice. Students explore ethical dilemmas which occur when business and personal perspectives differ from that of community stakeholders. They do so in the context of community development in the Monterey region. As an integral aspect of learning, students work with a community nonprofit organization and reflect on that experience. (Offered every semester.) Units 6 Units Prerequisites, Corequisites, and Registration Restrictions: (Prerequisites: BUS 300 AND BUS 304)
