Instruction in a number of different methods of weight training which will enable the student to design his/her own program for a lifetime of physical fitness. Includes training on Cybex machines and traditional dumbells and barbells. This basic course includes discussion on overload, specificity, progression and cardiovascular fitness. Incorporates anatomy, exercise physiology, flexibility and biomechanics.
