This course will explore the principles and applications of physics we encounter in our day-to-day lives. The math used will be as low a level as possible, no higher than elementary algebra. Maximum emphasis will be placed on conceptual understanding. Active class participation and oral reporting are an integral part of the course. Topics may vary somewhat according to student interests. Toys, sports, the human body, heat, electronics, music and many other topics will be explored.
