Description:
This course will provide students with information on the production and handling of specialty cut flowers, dried flowers and unusual container crops. All aspects of crop culture will be studied including propagation, planting, growth regulators, storage, handling and pest management. Greenhouse production as well as field cutural techniques will be studied. Additional course fees, including one overnight field trip, are required. Prerequisites: ORHT131 or ORHT232 or permission of instructor.
