The course objective is to provide an overview of pond management for production and/or recreational purposes. This course provides a synthesis of the diverse disciplines involved in culturing organisms in ponds and managing ponds for recreational fisheries. The focus is on management problems associated with site selectin, design and construction, water quality and species. Prerequisite: BIOL318 or permission of instructor.
