This is a project oriented course that focuses on the support and maintenance of PCs. Students will learn how to plan, organize, implement and operate a support system and apply this knowledge and skill through actual participation in a help desk environment. Students will also learn how to upgrade, troubleshoot and maintain PC hardware and software, how to build and repair PCs in a hands-on environment. Prerequisites: CITA120, CITA190 or permission of department. Corequisite: CITA300X. Course fee of $45 is required.
