A course designed to analyze the problems, strategies and procedures in managing and assessing human resources in contemporary organizations. Special attention given to: problems in assessing abilities and performance, effective recruitment, selection and training, motivational strategies and developing the organization's human resources. Special emphasis is placed on such topics as Equal Employment Opportunity, ethics, organizational development/teamwork and Total Quality Management. Prerequisite: BADM249 and PSYC111 or permission of the instructor.
