This is the first semester of two Anatomy and Physiology lecture courses covering the structure and function of the human body. Topics include the basic chemistry of life processes, a discussion of the four classes of macromolocules in the body, the muscular and skeletal systems, and the organization and integrative functions of the nervous and endorine systems. Prerequisites: BIOL111 and CHEM111 or permission of the instructor. Co-requisite: BIOL258X
