This course provides a comprehensive study of the microscopic anatomy (histology) of mammalian cells, tissues and organs, particularly in the human. Lectures and discussions are oriented toward understanding the correlation between the organization of the cells comprising the basic tissue types and organs and their respective functions. Prerequisite: BIOL101, BIOL104, or BIOL111. BIOL112 recommended; a grade of "C"or better or permission of the Department of Natural Sciences is required for students who expect to take BIOL268
