Description:

Students will identify common weed species found in the northeastern United States. The growth, reproductin and dissemination of weeds will be studied. Mechanical, biological and chemical methods of control including safe herbicide use will be introduced. Sprayer calibrations will be made and the effect of herbicide applications will be discussed. Prerequisite: AGSC111; BIOL116 recommended.
