On Demand 3 cr. LEC 2 LAB 1 PREREQUISITE: Junior standing, ANTH 201 -- Hands-on approach to analysis of prehistoric archaeological materials. Typically focuses on a single technology (stone, ceramics, animal bone, etc.). Course emphasis will alternate between replicative/experimental studies, where students create implements by attempting to replicate prehistoric manufacturing techniques, and the methodological and theoretical basis underlying formal analysis of material remains.
