This course will introduce students to an ecological model of citizenship theoretically and through hands-on experience in the community. Students will explore their own perceptions of citizenship and community, examine the context of a global problem, participate in problem solving work andcivic engagement within community contexts, and propose directions for social change in response to the problem.
