An analysis and evaluation of current educational programs for young children as well as emphasis on development of skills to develop programs commensurate with the needs of children, curriculum, staffing, administration and more. Also explores important and complex roles of parents in the educational development of young children. Assists prospective teachers in developing skills to aid parents in guiding their children. Community resources and services are included. Credits: 3 Hours: This course requires 15 hours of field study, 7.5 of which will be completed during class time. Admission to the Teacher Education program is required. Clock Hours - (Lect-Lab): (2-1)
