This course provides an examination of the budgeting and financial management functions in the public sector. The process by which public programs analyze budget needs and subsequently present them to elected officials and legislative bodies are covered. The systems used by public sector organizations to manage budgets and track expenditures are analyzed. (3 credits) Prerequisites: ACC 301 and ACC 302
