3 credits. Spanish-English translation applied in several commercial (i.e., marketing, finance) and technical (i.e., electricity and electronics, software, hardware) fields. Focus will be on the acquisition of specialized knowledge (both linguistic and extralinguistic) and the delivery of professional documents in real-market conditions. Fulfills the College of Arts and Letters writing-intensive requirement for the major. Prerequisites: TR 300 and SPAN 330 or permission of the instructor.
