6 credits. Offered fall and spring. Three-course sequence. Student performs an independent research project that meets the requirements set forth by the Honors program. Student must identify and analyze a technologically based problem, develop alternative solutions, recommend the best solution, and provide a written and oral technical report of the effort. May be taken in lieu of ISAT 491, ISAT 492, ISAT 493 sequence.
