Marine life, including plankton, nekton, neuston, and benthos, are studied in ecological settings from estuaries to the deep sea. Subject matter draws heavily from the original scientific literature. BIOL 3060 is recommended. Pre: BIOL 3060 (recommended), BIOL 3080, BIOL 3081, MARS 2060, and MARS 2062.
